Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 03, 2011 2:11 pm Just a quick note to all who are building with Big M (sorry I can't use their actual name here but I presume everyone knows who "Big M" is) in Metro Melbourne - they have apparently just changed their door supplier from Corinthian doors to another supplier by the name of Hume doors (I received an email saying as much this morning at about 10:30am), so if you haven't heard from them then I'd be getting in touch. I'm not sure if this affects other regions - I kind of doubt it because builders generally use different suppliers in different states/regions from what I've seen. As to why they have changed supplier, well if you check out the difference between Corinthian styles and Hume styles there's one rather important figure you will notice a bit of a "change" in. They appear to be doing it as straight change-over from a Corinthian style to a "matching" Hume style, so if your entrance door is being changed I'd suggest looking up the specified replacement Hume style to see if you like it. Just putting this out there in case there are people building with them in Metro Melbourne who haven't heard anything yet - as luck would have it we went with a "non-standard" entrance door from the Corinthian range (WIN 52G) for which there is no matching style in the Hume range. Some people apparently have nothing better to do than comment on other people's sigs. Keen to hear from people in the area who have got KDRB done on whom they got the build from? Looking for recommendations. Thanks 0 21118 I’m in a similar position except I’m after sliding 3 stacking doors.
