Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 17, 2011 7:55 pm Hi all, We are first time builders, building a new home with M homes in Sydney. We went past our house today and slab has been poured, upstairs and downstairs frames are complete and roof trusses are on.... My question is, at what stage will our site supervisor call us/meet us? I have spoken with him once when I asked my CSC who he is and what his number is I called him to ask when the slab would be poured and he said it's already done and that he would be in touch shortly to discuss the build and we still have not heard from him. My husband left him 2 mgs last week and he never returned our call. If you know when your SS contacted you or made a time to meet you please let me know. Cheers, Re: At What Stage Should You Meet Your Site Supervisor 2Jul 17, 2011 8:03 pm I'm building with Coral - our SS called us as soon as we were given our start date and we met onsite on the first day of work. ~ trying to build our dream home by the sea ~ Re: At What Stage Should You Meet Your Site Supervisor 4Jul 18, 2011 11:35 am I think you should have met him already. My DH met him once at the house and had a chat. I sent him an email once and didn't expect a reply and wasn't disappointed! I just hope he'll be in touch prior to PCI As far as we know there haven't been any problems that we can see but will have an independent inspector go through with us as we've never built a house before.
