Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 27, 2011 11:03 pm Hi All, long time lurker here, so finally I have decide to post as need some advice please. We are building our first home on my parents farm. We are having uPVC wood like windows, stained timber veranda posts and we are having small gables in the roof that we want to fill in with the timber as well. We don't want to paint, but the builder is concerned that we will be having to get up on steep roof redoing the stain quite often. So if you can get timber like uPVC windows and timber like garage doors, can you get timber like panelling at all?. All help would be much appreciated. This is a photo which our local dealer supplied where it was used in a gable. Not sure if there is a dealer in your area but maybe someone supplies a similar aluminium product. The modwood looks good but we need something that buts together to seal weather off and the same with the Craftlatt. The craftlatt looks looks like a great product and real like wood. But again need something that joins together. Does anyone know where to get composite wood southside of Melbourne. ?? Enquired about the urbanline which looks like what we are after up they are Qld way and cartage is a bit steep for it. I did google composite timber and having trouble finding Victorian supplier. Even Innowood are interstate. I did email them but no reply back. There must be somewhere local you can get it. I have driven past a few places that I think maybe composite timber has been used. Might have to stop and ask who their supplier is. 2 9458 traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 4224 I would say both styles you have pictured are steel.
