Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 22, 2011 10:41 am Ww are looking for some suggestions for the below about our wardrobes if anyone can share some input; 1. We had builder install the walk in wardrobe in Main Bedroom which is a plain L shape with a 1 x high shelve and a rod - just a look of hanging space!. I have put make do drawers in but gosh it looks ugly! 2. We deleted the wardrobes from the 2nd and 3rd bedroom but we didn’t know it would just be a hole (we had wardrobe doors installed by a friend) so now that is just a enclosed hole! I would like to fit these out very simple and with the cheapest option Any suggestions / experiences what a cheap and organized options for this would be Like wire racks, flat packs or handyman….? Re: Wardrobe fit out 2Jun 22, 2011 12:31 pm Make a list of what you need in each one. Do you want:- Hanging Space Trouser hanging spaces Wide drawers Narrow drawers Double hanging for shirts etc Long hanging space for dresses Open shelves for folded items Shoes racks? These are the items we have in our dressing room. Both boys' wardrobes only have a single hanging pole however it will be a cinch to add another one in need. They also have a short chest of drawers in their robes as well. They also have the shelf above the rod. Daughter's WIR is an L configuration and has a rod on both sides. She also has two small chests of drawers in there as well as our suitcases. But in saying this - our children are all still little (under 6) and have full chests of drawers within their rooms as well. So at this stage we don't need the robes in the boys rooms at all at the moment. Some things are worth waiting for.
