More cupboard storage needed

Hi there everyone

We have just purchased a home that we will be using as an investment property shortly. The home is only 12 months old and really does not lack a thing EXCEPT for decent cupboard space (For Linen Etc)

The only cupboard space it has is a smallish tall cupboard in the laundry which I dont think is adequate enough in my opinion.

Sooo my question is what can we do? Is it possible to call some kind of tradesman in to perhaps cut out abit of our wall in the passageway for example and make extra cupboard space ( :oops:

now I dont really know if thats possible to do :oops:

)

Any suggestions anyone :oops:

Amber, can you add onto the cupboard in the laundry???
To make a cupboard in the hallway, you need depth...it has to then come out of a room/space that is behind the hallway....

Do you have space to give up???? Is it worth it??? (in other words will it give you a better rental return?)

I would think that as long as you have adequate robe space and or shelving in the robes, people will use them if they really need to....

I personally would leave that problem up to the person renting.

Don’t spend money where you don’t have to. Other wise purchase a nice timber tallboy and put it somewhere appropriate.

As Phoenix has said, to make a cupboard in the hallway you need the depth in the wall.

Hmm you are probably right, I mean afterall I am probably looking at it as though I am the one living in the home :oops:
