Maybe it was a bit sensitive and they took it off? And by the way…where HAVE you gone? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: New Game? 3Sep 26, 2006 9:49 pm Michelle,
Thanks for raising that question. In short, there will be more guessing games, and we're open to other members commencing their own, and providing they are in good taste, and fun to participate in, we'll certainly consider backing them up with prizes. So, as a trial, we're of the idea of a homeone sponsored game to be run per week, and not specifically limited to one host. To qualify, why not PM homeone your inspiring 'Guessing Game' idea, and we'll let you know if / as-soon-as it's approved. ...let's let Zenith pull up a chair for a while. Re: New Game? 5Sep 26, 2006 9:56 pm Love to Homeone, I have thought about it, but I don’t think I could come up with any as good as Zenith! Burned, Interesting question... I think some would agree, that we're quite relaxed about the nature and type of content displayed at this forum. On the other hand, and a few may disagree, but some posts simply have no place here. Re: New Game? 8Sep 26, 2006 10:12 pm Burned, you know as well as I that they can decide 'what is in good taste & what is not'.
Everyone can sympathise & even empathasise with your situation . . . but come on give us a break. Why not start up your own forum & website to display your grievances. I'd be happy to support your point of view on any forum but for ****sake I would have thought this forum was more for helping. Re: New Game? 10Sep 26, 2006 10:22 pm Burned, I can see where you’re coming from, but I can also see where Homeone sits with this.
They cannot post something that can came back to them legally, it has nothing to do with racist or offensive they are just covering their a***. As we would all do, I don’t think you should take it personally. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: New Game? 12Sep 26, 2006 10:48 pm Michelle, I hosted a forum on the AusDesign site from June 2000 until Feb 2004 so I can relate to Homeones balancing act.
I believe everyone should be able to express their feelings on an 'open forem' -if it's related to the topic. When it became a forum to parade their personal greivances I revoked [after a warning] their login & I make no apologies for doing so. To my mind I was providing bandwidth [at my expense] for constructive discussion & answers to posters questions & those readers were entitled to receive informative answers. Once again I can empathise with 'burned's views but . . . . Peter Clarkson - AusDesign Australia www.ausdesign.com.au This information is intended to provide general information only. I understand, homeone probably does not won’t this drawn out to be something big. And I’m really sorry I brought it up now! I wish I missed it! But possibly it’s for a reason, I feel for you and what you have had to go through with your building project. And I fully agree that it needs to be addressed. But you have to understand other people are at risk here with your post. As much as we all sympathise with you, and I would never won’t to go threw what you are going threw, this is perhaps not the place to for you put your grievance up. I hope you get a result from the problem it has gone on too long for you. Try in other areas to get the resolve you deserve. All the best of luck!!
