Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 23, 2011 10:24 pm when i was doing my electrical plan with, (M). i was talked into getting this clipsal star serve put in . cost me roughly $500. i was told you can watch pay tv through this in every room. so i said yeh ok. all the wiring has been installed but isnt connected. so my question is can anybody tell me what it would cost to get this connected so i can watch pay in diff, rooms. also can anybody tell me what the star serve actually does. what are its uses. cheers mark. Re: Clipsal Star Serve Pack , help needed 2May 23, 2011 10:36 pm When you say it isn't connected, I'd assume you mean your pay TV hasn't been connected to the starserve box. Essentially you'd want someone (you if you know how to) to connect up your pay TV to the input of your starserve; then with every TV you have that you plug into the starserve (as you said, the wiring has already been installed), you should be able to watch pay TV at every room it's connected to. Hope that helps, EDIT: and to answer your question, starserve distributes an input to various different outputs. So you could broadcast your DVD player to every room, or your VCR, xbox even if you want everyone to see you playing!
