Bought a cheap surfboard off eBay and want to attach it to the outside of the house (brick veneer). What would be the best way to do this? Thanks Re: Attaching Surfboard to Brick 2May 03, 2011 3:59 pm Assuming its purely asthetical, I would cut the fins off, screw some pieces of timber to either end of the board, so you have some flat suface to work with. Then I'd dyna bolt a length of timber to the brick wall, and probably just liquid nails the 2 timber surfaces together. Alternatively you could screw in some hocks for it to rest on. Or, what might be cool would be to get some old roof racks, attach those to the wall and mount it on that. That would look cool. That would look cool. cut a few holes out aka plugs/ to where you are going to screw it onto the "backing board" then attach it to the board then fill the holes with the plugs invisible mouting solution.. use a really good adheasive and mount the SB onto a "mounting board" timber then cut into the SB to create the above "plug" then once dry.. drill holes into the timber then with assistance markt he holes onthe walls. then with dyna bolts install the Mounting board to the wall, then put in the plugs and coat with a clear drying adheasive.
