Hi..I'm wondering if anyone can help me who knows a little about house costing. I'm about to build a house in perth, so will be double brick and tile. I'm looking at doing the house to Lock up stage by a proper builder so to speak, then do most of the finishing myself as i have trade skills etc. So does anyone know what that the ratio is in regard to how much the overall cost of a home is realted to lock-up stage?. ie would it be 75% cost to lock up, then 25% on finishing out etc?..or whatever?
I appreciate that home builders vary in cost due to their quality of fittings and what 'extra's' they have as standard, but if someone could provide me with ballpart figure of that ratio it would be appreciated
Thanks
Brian.
