Does anyone know what these extra buttons do?

As the title suggests, I am trying to figure out what three of the four buttons do on the remote for our sectional roller door.

Here is the remote

Here is the opener

The buttons with the ? over them don’t seem to do anything and I was not given any instructions for the remotes, I have the instructions for the opener, but there is nothing in there about the remotes.

If anyone can help me out I would very much appreciate it
Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start and you get 30 extra lives.

I bet the remote fob was designed to be a generic one which could be used for multiple functions in mind which are redundant because you only have 1 remote door
If you look at your manual you should be able to program the buttons. I know one option with mine is to just turn the light on or off on the unit

If only it was that simple

This is what I thought too, but surely there is a way of programming it to do things like turn the light on and off etc

The manual is only for the opener, it does not mention the remotes at all, as Veefy said, the remotes are probably a universal type and the buttons may not necessarily do anything, I just assumed that I would be able to turn the light on and off

From the picture there is a light on the unit. I have one of my buttons on the control that only turns on the light and not opens the door. If your manual provided with the unit doesn't have the instructions on how to program the buttons then google the name/model of the unit and try to find the information online.
It looks like a generic opener... if you have a roller door and security gate, you can program one remote to open both of them. My friend had one! I was at the gate one day with her remote and couldn't work out why the blinkin gate would not open. I kept on pressing the button and nothing, pressing the button and nothing - then I realised I was at the gate opening and closing their garage roller door a million times!! LOL.... whoopsie!
This site has a lot of remotes pictured, although I don't see yours: http://www.magic-key.com.au/index.php?para=Case_color&detail=23

Does it have a brand on it? That might help you find programming info online.

I cannot see any details about product model or anything, it only has this sticker on it

Like the opener, no details, only this sticker on the back

All I want to do is turn the light on and off, they don’t make things easy do they?
Ours is a b&d one, but it has 4 buttons on it too and only one opens the garage. Apparently the other buttons are so you can have other things on the one remote, so if you have a small roller door at the back of your garage, you can use one of the other buttons to work that so you don't have a bunch of remotes.
The reciever will have dip switches built inside the main housing, if you want the remote to do something else like operate an alarm or similar you will need to get a technician to look at it, I would suggest you contact the garage door supplier and get them to tell you the brand and what it can do
