Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 24, 2011 3:48 pm Hi all, I'm an owner builder and currently 40% into my project and have completed all the brickwork - double brick, concrete slab structure and have now started my roof framing. Without being ignorant I've missed an important part of my Basix report in regards to brick cavity insulation: external wall - cavity brick 0.50 (or 1.17 including construction) I've informed my Architect about this and because I luckily avoided double glazing for my windows he's having a hard time trying to re balance the so called Basix numbers? Has anyone on this forum come across a similar situation with Basix and if so how did they get around it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
