Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 14, 2011 2:57 pm I'm in Carlingford area (Sydney). Got a builder who did the extension last year to lock-up stage only. The builder is 50 years exp & only required to pass 3 council inspections (sewage connection before concrete was poured, timber frame and storm-water connection). Builder did the down-pipes and storm-water connection & covered all pipes so Council inspectors failed them. They have to put in more downpipes and more storm-water connection and they failed again as they covered all pipes with soils. Builder refused all their uncompleted work & claimed they are building according to BCA. I took this matter to the CTTT (Consumer Tribunal) and the Registrar wants to see an expert report as he said that council letters are not sufficient as claimed as they are not in expert view. Can anyone please recommend some-one closeby? I have all documents & photos. I hope this simple report does not cost me a kidney thanks ttn Re: Need a home building expert report for a Tribunal Matter 2Mar 14, 2011 3:29 pm How about: http://www.asbc.com.au/pdf/members_cv/cv_dougcoombes.pdf Used him before & have booked him again, give him a ring & see what he sugests Got a life, just can't find it!
