Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 06, 2011 5:57 pm HI! This is my first post, so be gentle. I am trying to choose a colour for my new pool. I am wanting a dark blue green, see the mood board I've made up. I can't figure out how to post images on this site, it's telling me "the board attachment has been reached"?? SO. Click here to see what I'm wanting colour wise: http://pinterest.com/pin/7402438/ My question is, does anyone have photos of Quartzon Graphite pools or Q-Crystal Midnight pools??? I have seen a few shots that aren't on the Quartzon site, but they look super dull and dark, could be crappy photography, but I'm a bit worried now. Could Quartzon doctor their photos?? Q-Crystal is what I want to use but their website is ridiculously bad and they really don't have good photos of their colours. I would LOVE any thoughts you all might have. Re: Pool colour HELP!! 2May 06, 2011 6:38 pm Hi Kate I'm looking for similar colours and I agree - the websites are awful! I've been looking at the Aristone website and all their different colours look the same colour in the photos online. We're also looking for that green colour so I'll be hoping someone replies to your post soon. Good luck BNA Re: Pool colour HELP!! 3May 06, 2011 7:35 pm When I was talking to a pool salesman recently he recommended light bright blues colour so the pool doesn't end up like being a dark black hole in your backard, I'd probably opt for a lighter colour than the Quartzon Graphite myself, Maybe go to actual pool installations with it a few times (once on a sunny day, once on overcast day) to get a feel for it in the reality. Pics on websites are probably all on mid summer days when it will look the best I'd probably go for something like ice blue myself http://www.madpoolinteriors.com.au/qgallery.htm It just makes the pool look more inviting in my opinion. Thankyou so much ๐ I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK ๐ 2 3622 Thank you @.
