Construction on the block next door has just commenced. Our blocks are very sloping and require some movement of the soil into a step formation to prepare for the slab/s to be poured.
When we had a look today, our boundary pegs were clearly marked and the space where the garage will be has been dug at least one metre past the wooden marker onto our land.
Is this normal for builders to do this, or should I be concerned that they are digging our land out? Looking at the outline of the soil, it has the impression that the slab is being prepared a metre or so down the street. FYI the land has been cut about a metre deep.
I've got no idea about this stuff so wondering if it is necessary to say something or am I worrying about nothing?
