The guy in Bunnings recommended a Ryobi product but it didn’t work on my walls (standard plaster walls with pine frame). It would not calibrate and kept giving me a “zebra” error so I returned it. It's not for sale quite yet. Probably late spring of 2011. It uses a different approach than other magnetic stud finders. Will work on any type of wall construction plus ceilings. Full disclosure: I invented it...but it's worth a look.
