We received our Certificate of Occupany on Friday 04.02.2011 and still waiting on the Title Reg.. Is this normal? I was advised by our solicitor that after they contacted the vendor's solicitor on Tuesday it was at it's final stages. Just need to know then general turn around time for this.. I just received an update from the vendor's settlement team and according to them the title has been registered, it just needs to be signed off. Do you mean registration of the transfer of land? The title itself will already be registered - otherwise no construction could have begun. If NSW is anything like Vic, it could be weeks before your name appears on the title.... No big deal, as long as settlement took place with all docs and funds exchanged, the place is legally yours.
