Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 08, 2011 4:36 pm Hi guys, just a quick question. I am thinking of changing my light switches to the Clipsal Saturn Range. I was looking at the wiring diagram [see link] and am a little confused. Take diagram 1, it shows a 'load' from the neutral. Is this just an extension of the neutral wire from the loop socket to the other? Or is the 'load' actually a resistor or some other device that needs to be installed? Is just a plain switch, no cbus or anything fancy. Thanks in advance http://www.clipsal.com/trade/__data/pag ... 000581.pdf Re: wiring clipsal saturn light switch 3Feb 08, 2011 6:19 pm haha of course not or i wouldnt ask, if its simple please enlighten me... plzzzzz. am 18 and just bought this house. if its a simple process of changing switch and adding the extension of the neutral, cool, i can do it. if not well will have to wait until i can afford an electrician.. but still want to know what the diagram means. ta Re: wiring clipsal saturn light switch 6Feb 09, 2011 7:32 am thx adam, all makes sense now. yeh will have to get an electrician as after checking wiring in roof is all very old and fragile and all the same colour.
