Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 06, 2011 6:31 pm Hi there, We've recently purchased a block of land with an existing crossover. Our problem is that there is no drainage pipe underneath the cross over so with the heavy rain we've had lately waters been running over the top of the driveway and soil has started to come away from under the concrete at one end. So we haven't settled on the land yet so i was wondering who's responsible for fixing this problem. The council or developer? I'm spoke to the builder I'm not sure if this is all true but basically went along the lines of they considered all options and if I was to compact and fill it… 2 6360 To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9826 |
