It's bigger than my kitchen sink. maybe twice as big. I never use it for anything so I don't wish I'd gotten any bigger. Even if you want to soak something really large, like, say, a queen size bed quilt, you could just do it in your washing machine - without actually machine washing if it was something non machine washable. Cant say I've ever done this though - the only things I have that are non machine washable are smaller items, like knitted tops - they just get washed in a bucket. Re: How many litres is your laundry tub? 7Jan 26, 2011 4:34 am Ours is 45 Litres we also got the version which is Installed so the narrowest dimension is at at the front as its more efficient on space then the standard way which take sup more wall length 45Litre. Re: How many litres is your laundry tub? 8Jan 26, 2011 6:51 am Like some others, I've also been enjoying these "questionnaires" And like some others, I've been wondering why wouldn't you help us help you and give us some more info with some of the questions Anyway, ours is also a std 45 litre. IMO, too small , I'd like it just a tad deeper - BUT - ours is free standing and not buit into a cabinet. I never ever use it for soaking, I just put another bucket into it when I have to do some hand washing, that's all. More generous dimensions would allow the use of a wider washbowl. Now, eagerly awaiting the next question http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk129/palong_palo/smiley/waiting.gif Oh, and where are you up to with your build? The last house i renovated we put in a 250mm wide by 400 long sink because it didn't have space for anything else. I prefer to soak in a bucket on the off chance i am soaking something. Re: How many litres is your laundry tub? 18Feb 01, 2011 6:56 pm the LARGE majority of insert SS troughs are 45lts. There are a couple of ceramic ones out on the market at 35 litres. I would say you could put money on 95%+ of laundry troughs holding 45 litres. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=46664 Building in Baldivis, Western Australia. First home, with Impressions.
