Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Fabric Storage Help! 14Jan 09, 2011 8:33 am sleven Check out these Q-boxes - the draws and shelves look like they go into the bookshelf thingys... scroll half way down the page... really cheap stuff - I personally haven't bought anything so I'm not recommending them - just a website I stalk for when the furniture I want goes on sale!!! http://www.milandirect.com.au/shop/cate ... w-arrival/ Thanks Sleven, I will be on the lookout at that site ditzydame Thanks ditzydame, it's good to actually see them in action not just on a page kek kyton What about an armoire / wardrobe? I have seen some blogs with stunning setups!! This would be my preferred solution - or a large chest with deep drawers. You could pick something that suits the decor, either modern or traditional, painted or stained.... Or if there's a built in robe, simply have it fitted out with shelves or drawers to suit. If you're not a neat freak like me who has to have no clutter and everything hidden away, you could stack your fabric neatly on open shelves and make a feature of it. Of course, I'd have to colour-coordinate it all.... A compromise would be cabinets with frosted panels so you can see what's in each drawer or dupboard. Something like the Aneboda range from IKEA: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Two or three of those side-by-side would look great, and there's extra space on top to display or store stuff. Or there's the taller armoire style.... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Oh, I love this forum sometimes I think the smaller one would look better as it wont be the main feature of the room. That Aneboda chest of 3 drawers would be perfect; it's all in one, neat and probably the right size for me Thanks guys, keep the ideas coming! I might change my mind again Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7936 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12526 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7170 |
