Attached is a photo of my letterbox, this and the adjacent low walls across the front of my property have been
finished with Acratex approximately 9 years ago as you can see there is a problem.
My question is is it possible for myself to repair by removing all damage filling and recovering with a suitable cover without employing a professional ??
Any answers would be greatly appreciated...

Being 9 years old you're due for a re coating (Every 7-10 yrs recommended), there is some Acratex products which can be applied with a paint roller but texture might not match. I would visit a Dulux trade centre or call customer service on 13 25 25, they should be able to give correct advice.
