Are less people these days going for the greatr contrast with dark floor tiles, and instead of White grout are going for a darker one to match the tile colour? We wouldn't use light grout on the floors here as we have RED dirt and the grout would be pink before we had even moved in! We are going with either 500x500 or 600x600 floor tiles in our living rooms/hallways and there going to be a whitish/with a grey tinge through them, and was going to choose white grout - i have been advised to not go white, but i didnt want Grey grout as it would catch our eyes too much, what other colour can we choose? I was thinking , atleast i can bleach the floors if there was a mark on the grout. I sealed our grout before we used it and after 8 months I have not had dirty grout at all (soap scum on the tiles though) After 4 years - we're in! It never looks clean, I don't use chemicals to bleach it so I am there on my hands and knees scrubbing. It's a pain. It wasn't sealed, that might have helped!
