We need hot water quickly - showers etc..... having never even remotely looked at hot water systems I have no idea what is out there, choices, good bad etc. any threads anyone can point me to or experiences you can share. after a good system, energy efficient ( is that possible) that is reasonably priced and will provide good hot water reliably. who are the main players worth investigating, anything we should be wary of I need my shower!! renobeginner edited to say: if this thread belongs in a particular forum please let me know! thanks Re: Hot water system died last night - HELP 2Dec 06, 2010 8:13 am What sort of system do you currently have-gas, solar, electric or chip heater? If you are moving from one type to another, keep in mind the extra works that will be needed to make the change to an alternate system happen-pipework, wiring, mountings amongst other things.
