Hi there
We want to erect a 1.8m brick pillar fence with a 300mm face brickwork with powder coated steel infills and take this right to the corner and around the other street side of our block which is a corner block.
Council Building Regulations 2006 are that you cannot build a fence greater than 1m if located within 9m of a point of intersection of street alignment. Such a fence must be designed to maintain a driver’s line of sight to manoeuvre around or into the street which we are trying to do.
As anyone gotten around this regulation and if so what info did you put in your dispensation letter to the council?
Thanks heaps caz
