I would love to build a zero-emissions house on big land near the CBD, but not being a millionaire puts certain constraints on those ambitions. So I thought the next best solution, and probably at least a semi-affordable one at that, would be to build an energy-efficient and sustainable duplex close to a train station in a nice, established suburb. In most places this would be a knockdown-subdivide/rebuild project, ideally located in the E/SE suburbs of Melbourne. I'm not in a financial position to just self-develop a duplex and then sell the other one, but that's not the only motivation for wanting a "partner"; it would also be good to find, for the lack of a better word, like-minded individuals/families intending to occupy the other half for the long term. Any ideas where to look for such people? Hi Kateo, Are you able to spare any of the tiles? Thanks Tony 10 11393 in the stormwater pit or the drain? Those dont look like theyd fit in the drain. Separately, the pits do get stuff in them during the course of the build.
