Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 25, 2010 10:59 am Good morning everyone, I have been looking at building a townhouse with Hermitage Homes... I believe everything is already set and I will not make many changes (if any) to what is already planned. But I wanted to know, have anyone had any experience with them? I checked some reviews and they are usually awful, but having said that, it is the case with most builders anyway... I want to believe that is because people with good experiences do not have the need to post Please let me know of your experiences with Hermitage Homes? Kind regards, Roberto Luengo Re: Experiences with Hermitage Homes 2Feb 20, 2011 10:53 pm Sorry I can't really help but I'm also interested in feedback about Hermitage Homes. Did you end up signing with them? Does anyone else here have experience with this builder that they can share (positive or negative)? Murphy11 Re: Experiences with Hermitage Homes 3Feb 21, 2011 11:41 am I can only go by being a neighbour to a Hermitage Home and am appauled with their customer service. They did not put agg drainage downt he side of the neighbours garage which is on our b9order and we are higher therefore his garage was getting flooded wih our run off, so the builder ordered the contractor to jump our fence and dig it up (it sat like this for 7 months) I came home that day to find a big hole in our backyard and my dog in my driveway. I rang them and rang and rang and 7 months later with the threat of legal action they fixed it up! The neighbour also spoke about having a crushed storm water pipe and was flooding the house below them as nothing was going into his tanks, hermitage tried to pass this off saying it was his concreters fault after completion but turns out it wasnt as it was under his house slab! You hear good and bad for every builder, at the end of the day it depends on who you deal with within the company! 2nd build here we come in Whittlesea! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=92617 1st Build - Henley - Cooper in Doreen!
