It really likes to stop in hard to reach places like under beds and whatnot if it cant make it back. overall works well and does a good job of sweeping up. just have to run it daily to make it go over all the room. Re: Roomba and Scooba - reviews and opinions 4Oct 17, 2010 12:17 pm I'm considering one of these. At first after a google search I found a lot of negative reviews (from the US) - a common theme was that it only seemed to go about two years before dying. Then I sat back and thought about it - if you vacuum weekly and your vacuum bites the dust after 14 years, I wouldn't imagine you would complain too bitterly on the internet. A Roomba used daily for two years covers a similar number of use cycles to that vacuum - but because there is a general expectation that appliances should last, it gets a bad rap. I still haven't lashed out and bought one (as I'm still a bit reluctant to spend $800 for something that potentially has a 2 year life) but I'm looking at it a little differently than when I first read all that bad publicity. Now I'm off to check that previous thread, Kylie Re: Roomba and Scooba - reviews and opinions 5Oct 18, 2010 10:38 am Love my roomba! Only downside is you have to remember to empty it before you use it or after you finish using it Built Liberty 42 - Handover 26th Feb 2010 forum thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=17243 We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 18016 Hi starting the process of looking around for Dual Occ builders.
