I've not dealt with the WAHC, but i'm sure all builders are the same. You will get good and bad comments with every builder. Have fun building - we're doing it again, second time around and would do it again. Follow Feggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=34992 Follow lilfeggle viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37149 Asbestosis Sux! Don't breath in Asbestos Re: West Australia Housing Centre? 3Oct 27, 2010 7:36 am We met with the WAHC (a lady at the Ellenbrook display village). The price was good for the promo house but if you looked at the things that were missing compared to the display spec it wasn't worth it for us. Things like fittings weren't standard, it was missing a wall to the fridge recess, showers were only curtain and rail etc. In the end we signed with Blueprint Homes who's inclusions were much better for the similar price to the WAHC houses. We searched and re-searched for months and months before deciding. We found that when you got quotes that were 'inclusive' of the same inclusions the difference in builders was almost negligible. In the end it was the house design that won out. So far it has been a positive experience for us, hopefully it will stay that way! Re: West Australia Housing Centre? 5Dec 05, 2010 1:19 am hi everyone, thank you for posting. update: at the moment, there is no movement, not going to be building just yet. the house im in make me cry every time i get up the drive way but ive been told to hold for at least 18 months. im doing a little reno to see if i can re-fall in love lol but its not working out the way i planned it. so my goal at the moment is to just try and hang in there for a bit. then if im still hate it im selling and building. there is only one plan i liked in my price range with WAHC was The Brunswick Bay but it was pretty expensive and too basic of inclusions, curtin rods for showers etc was crap so when i do get around to building i will be building with either * or commodore homes but depends on wether someone comes out with a plan i completely fall for but for the time being my heart is set on a couple of plans from *. thanks everyone xox Hi All, see above image.
