Steel caps.
Steel caps don't replace eyes and ears and thinking, that is what I mean by taking care... Common sense is making the right decision in each situation, sometimes even standard PPE either isn't enough or isn't appropriate.
It's not much use saying he died with his boots on... but they were steel capped.
Every individual must be aware and cautious... a finished home is fairly safe, you are not likely to come across pinch points, of toe crushing, more likely trip hazards (kids toys and the like), then boots won't help. And if the home owner insists on covering the floor, that adds another hazard.
But each individual must make his/'her own decision... rules are for the guidance of the wise...
