We are to sign our building contract pretty soon, but the land might not title in time.
I would appreciate any advice/tips/traps/ you can give me that I should watch out for while signing the building contract.

Tarneit : The Reserve Re: Signing of building contracts 2Oct 04, 2010 10:16 pm Hi, When you say the land may not title for some time are you talking a couple of months, six months or 12 months? Is the block being purchased as part of a home and land package? Check the contract carefully to see if there is a clause about them being able to increase the price if construction is delayed to circumstances beyond their control or something similar. Our last house we signed the building contracts in November 2007 and the land did not title until April 2010. We were not charged any additional costs due to the delay.
