Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 04, 2010 8:36 pm Hi all, We have put the deposit down on a block of land that is to tittle in a few weeks from now all development work has been completed on it and they are waiting for council compliance. I drove by today and noticed that one of the stakes that marks my block had been shifted and beer bottles strewn all over. What should I do ? Should I call my conveyancer or the Developer? What is the registration process does some go out to inspect the actual land during the registration/titling? When my builder did the first soil test they indicated that if the stakes are missing then they will charge us to put it in. Tarneit : The Reserve Re: Vandals on yet to tittle land!!!! 2Oct 04, 2010 9:23 pm I had this happen to my land before settlement. The builder, if they own the land, or whoever owns the land, has to pay for them to be put in before settlement. If it's after settlement it's your issue to pay for. Re: Vandals on yet to tittle land!!!! 5Oct 05, 2010 11:36 am I would let the developer know. As Lunchtime has said there was the buried stake in the ground so it was easy fro me to locate the original location of the stake. Thanks for all your repli4es and I hope this helps some one in the same situation as me. Tarneit : The Reserve Hi, This is my first post.
