Have just bought a plot near Perth and will be building soon. Since we're living overseas, we need to find a building company that is reliable and provides good quality. Having read some of the posts about cowboy builders am very worried. I've looked at designs by the following: Webb and Brown Neavis National Homes Metro Any feedback, good or bad, on any of these would be very much appreciated. You can PM if you don;t want to post it on a public forum. Thanks Re: Advice on good building companies in WA 2Jun 05, 2006 11:05 pm hello mate
webb brown have always had a good rep i havent heard anything negative from them. it may also be worth checking out craig sheilds homes in balacatta. Otherwise check out the smaller builders Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 17249 9 24782 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7271 |
