The rumour mill advises that the govt had purchased land in the past that did not suit and was subsequently sold. At the recent school concert we were advised by the principal that talks were still ongoing. The school has had to put a cap on new students and even asked parents to advise early if they were planning withdrawl due to relocation etc as demand outweighs places. We love the school and find the staff wonderful Re: Botanic Ridge Primary School, Shops ect ect. 4Nov 11, 2010 6:17 am Coles will be going in http://burbankascent2500.blogspot.com/ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28503 [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/] HOUSE COMPLETED IN 119 DAYS PCI Complete Handover 24th August Re: Botanic Ridge Primary School, Shops ect ect. 5Nov 12, 2010 8:42 pm pinkdiamond Coles will be going in how did you find that out if so do you know where and when ? The current planning is being lead by the Growth Areas Authority as the appointed planning authority for this precinct in collaboration with Council. The planning will include the preparation of a Planning Scheme Amendment and associated Botanic Ridge Precinct Structure Plan. Upon adoption of the proposed amendment a second development front will be opened up for the Botanic Ridge area. This report provides a briefing on the extensive planning history that has occurred in the area along with current strategic planning initiatives. It also discusses the key considerations for Council in the precinct structure planning for Botanic Ridge and the critical next steps to be carried out.
