Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 18, 2010 9:57 pm Hi guys, I am looking to at my options on building on a parcel I have located in the Hillcroft Estate in South Morang, Victoria. My original idea was to sell this land and buy in an area closer to the city and treat it as an investment property however, I have thought that if I am able to build 2 townhouses (and put both up for rent) on my existing block of land it may be worth holding onto. Only problem is that because the hillcroft estate is somewhat new, I may be restricted to building only 1 dwelling. Within the Section 32 there is an area that reads "the transferee at any time conduct building other than one private dwelling house with the usual outbuildings." Just wondering whether anyone has explored similar opportunities??? and whether there are any exceptions to the rule... even it means building as 'one dwelling' and some how designing it to facilitate 2 tenants. Thanks for any advise that can be shared. Cheers, Spiro Hi All, see above image.
