Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 11, 2010 6:56 pm Hi guys I have just stumbled across this site and noticed some posts where people were saying that they were having to move out during renovations or when building and having to rent.One alternative to renting in those situations is housesitting. You don't pay anything and it can be for a short or long period depending on what the owner requires. My wife and I have done it a number of times and recommend giving it serious consideration. There are a number of site on the net but the one we had success with is www.australianhousesitter.com.au and it's free. (only one we found that was free but not sure for how long though) Check them out (and others)if you want to save on renting.
