Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 11, 2010 6:37 pm Hi does anyone have a 1 degree pitch roof / colour bond clip lock and if so have you had problems ??? The initial design of our house was a 1 degree pitch roof . We requested this to to changed to 3 degrees to improve runoff. We found out today after they have completed all the batons and are about to do the roof that it is one degree and not the 3 we requested . The roofer is adamant that this shouldn't be a problem . Does anyone have any opinions on this many thanks Mike Mike 2/3 of the way thru the build Re: 1 degree pitch roof 2Sep 11, 2010 9:08 pm Hi. Lysaght's Klip-Lok generally can be installed at 1 degree pitch according to the specs, but some others of Lysaght's profiles are recommended for 3 degrees minimum, eg Spandek. Note that the 1 degree pitch is possible partly because designed concealed fixings are recommended, and no puncturing of the sheets means it is less vulnerable to leaks. So if it is Klip-lok and competently installed with no sheet penetrations, you should be OK. Note that sheet ends at the gutter must be turned down to stop water wicking back on the underside.
