Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 06, 2010 4:17 pm I just got my home re-levelled as the kitchen was on a slight slant. When they re-levelled the whole house they only packed the stumps that had a timber frame on top of it, in other words, just the walls. For example my whole lounge room was not checked to see if it was uneven (even though it doesn't look like it), but it still wasn't checked. Just the wall between the lounge and kitchen was looked at. I asked them if they are going to check this room (pointing to the lounge area) and they said that when it comes to re-levelling a home, you just have to do it in areas where it's weight bearing (on top of a timber frame in other words). I'm confused, please I hope someone responds. I am wondering which one… 0 6538 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13843 |
