The latest photos for us are still land.vic.gov.au's interactive map, from December 2009. Google maps is getting way out of date, both the images and the street information. And the most recent map is January 2004! Plus the entire area that I live in is only visible at such an extreme distance that you really could be looking at any patch of land in Australia. Oh and it mentions a railway station that doesn't even exist . My parents' house (over 30 years old) isn't even visible because of how blurry the map is. But I guess it's helpful for people who live in metropolitan areas so thanks anyway pugs Re: New way of keeping track of your build.. 10Sep 02, 2010 4:01 pm Aww my place is there, but the blue bin is still in the yard in the photo so it hasn't been updated for a while :O awesome tho! Flying aerial photography is a very expensive business and then it takes time to process the images and so on. Google uses imagery they buy from other sources, they don't do it themselves.
