Hoping someone can help
While preparing a defects list from our renovation I noticed that both vanities were not flush with our bathroom walls -on one side they are out by approx 5ml

is this acceptable? Our said it was due to our walls being wonky However both walls are new ones that the builders put in???
Also in some areas Im not sure the floorstain is applied correctly I can see tiny bubbles and it just looks uneven ( its dark chocolate brown satin so notivceable)my kitchen kickboards had some stain flecks on them which the builders cleaned but an uneven line still appears at the bottom and I think its going to drive me crazy knowing its there
Plus there were some nail holes in another section of kickboard - which they covered up with stickers. Am I being unreasonable to think that this is not OK?
The caulker hasnt been yet so still cant use the showers (after being in for 10 days)
The sliding door from garage has a pathetic little lock on it that can be opened with a coin (luckily the garage doors finally arrived today)
The painter only just finished so each day he would leave new trails of paintdust for me, he also left paint on windows handles and winders plus doing a rush job on sealing the skirting boards after we paid 11K for the privilege
the builders say they will organise a window cleaner.
there are tons more little things but I assume thats the case at the end of all builds/renos
Im feeling so tired and beyond frustrated
Should I try to find an inspector willing to check over a renovated house? And can anyone recommend one in the bayside area?
Thanks for reading my rant!
