Just been down to Bunnings and noticed someone returning a floor sander.
It was in the boot, getting it out was an effort - these things are heavy - it crunched onto the pavement and then he rolled it across the car park through a couple of gutters running with water and eventually into the store. Not exactly my way to treat a piece of equipment. I wonder what sort of a job it will do for the next user.
Not having a go at Bunnings by any means - perhaps they ought to have better return and pickup arrangements - but if hiring stuff I suggest be quite careful about the condition it is in and how well it operates - you have no idea how it has been handled prior to your go at it.
