Due to circumstances out of my control, i've lost my broadband internet connection and have had to revert back to dial up at the"folks" house.

Since we will only be living with the "folks" for another 5-6 months or so, we don't want to sign them up for a long broadband plan which they will not use, once we leave.
Does anyone have any suggestions for ADSL or wireless plans, without the high connection fees and hardware costs? We prefer no contract so that we can evaluate what will work in the new house in the new year.
Not sure what will work there at the moment as there are no houses that are complete as yet in our immediate vicinity...so can't check phone numbers etc. to check who services that area. (As advised in a previous thread).
We might look at VOIP when we move in, but want to make the right choice - and if i find the right plan (that will work a the new place too), i will have it moved with us to the new place (i'm sure that will be at a cost too

Please help or else it seems i have to miss out on the forum for a while
