I live in western Sydney and have notice a few of these auction places popping up recently. Re: Home & Building Auctions - Have you been to one ? 2Aug 21, 2010 11:46 am Hi There, I haven't to an auction but in Victoria there is a company that does auctions. Too far for me to travel - they also have a website http://www.graysonline.com/ Have a look because a lot of things are actually pick up in NSW (I don't know where though) They also have delivery for some items... I bought a commercial mixer tap for the kitchen for $110!!!! They said it retailed at $700 and it is perfect .. I can't wait to put it in my kitchen. Negative side though is that I also bought bathroom towels and they really are not the quality or size I expected. So really research things. So concluding I say have a go; you could really find some bargains, but know what you want first and if it doesn't feel right don't buy it! It was fantastic and bargains could be made but it is VERY important that you know the RRP of the items and don't get caught up in the bidding. We purchased a chrome towel ladder for $30; Gainsborough locked lever sets for $5 each; and shower rope and attachments for $90. We had already found those items in shops previously and all were substantial higher. Watertanks (5000l round) sold for $450!! 2pac kitchens/stone tops were around $3-4000. Again very important that you know your prices. We need toliets and have found two wall faced ones from a one known retailer. Their toilets were cheaper than Grays. Well worth visiting an Auction. Just do your research before you go. Good luck! It was lots of fun! You have mandatory building inspections and privately engaged building inspections. The difference between the two comes down to inspecting the building so it's safe and… 3 18063 Hello everyone, I have a question regarding moving a chandelier after it has been mounted.
