Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Eucalypt North Epping 2Sep 06, 2010 8:57 am Hi Pinoy, Me and my friend both have bought Land in Eucalypt Estate. Stage 1C. In Bangalay Rise. Our Lot number is 189 and 175. We are very excited about the land purchase. Not quiet sure when the settlement for the land will be ? Which release did you buy your land and when is your settlement date? Also not quiet sure about Fibre Optic / ADSL2+ Internet in the Estate - Stockland doesnt want to comment anything on that! Good Luck Harry Re: Eucalypt North Epping 3Sep 13, 2010 2:56 pm Hi Harry, Yeah I finally bought my land there but the settlement is not until middle of next year. I'm quite excited about it now, speaking to a few people and the plans they have in the area, I think it's a good thing to buy up north right now. I think they are building a shopping district bigger than Chadstone and also the new market they are building on cooper st. I'll be happy if they make Epping Rd a 2 lane street also.. Re: Eucalypt North Epping 4Sep 19, 2010 10:16 am Hi, I and one of my friends have blocked lots in Eucalypt's Pine Park Road blocks. Dealing with Stockland for the first time. I enquired about broadband at the estate and they gave me back a one liner to contact Telstra. No further information. JT Re: Eucalypt North Epping 6Sep 29, 2010 10:15 pm Hi Jimmy,

Re: Eucalypt North Epping 7Oct 01, 2010 4:47 am You will get adsl 1 not a problem, ADSL2+ don't know but FTN will be there in 12 months anyway. You might also get a train in 12 years if you keep bashing the local member - or vote green a few times.. Don't let them build that freeway without rails. More trains = more road space when you need it most. It still needs costing and environmental impact done which can alter its final pathway / design. http://services.land.vic.gov.au/maps/interactive.jsp Re: Eucalypt North Epping 9Oct 02, 2010 10:00 am Ive removed your email addresses, as you will find that Bots will scan the site and pick up on them and then you will be subjected to lots and lots of spam If you would like each other's emails, then I suggest using the PM feature Ive been following the works of Eucalypt but havent really looked in to it. Re: Eucalypt North Epping 11Oct 02, 2010 2:34 pm jims2020 Redman - where is the new freeway coming ? Haven't heard of it so far...have you bought land in Epping ? Jimbo RE: land Nope, live in Fawkner - I have a bit of hobby in Environmental science / Environment and I would like a hand in getting sustainable urban planning and energy systems in place. Part of that involves keeping up to date with new freeways and urban rail / transport. If someone is going to pave a swathe of land seeds will be collected and preserved, I often help with that if I can. RE: Freeway. It has a land reservation east of Epping to the ring road, you can see this on Google Earth and the like. http://maps.google.com/maps?client=ubun ... 08497&z=17 From there Its unclear and undecided. Its going to pass west of Woolert AFAIK and join the Hume north of Craigiburn. There is rail going through to to the West making 2 commuter lines in an orbit. One is the Werribee link to Sunshine (being built) and the new outer ring road will include both commuter and freight link rails (x4) in the median. I doubt that will go to the East (Woolert) side but I do hope the the commuter rail and freeway are built at the same time. Epping is supposed to get a branch line going due north at some point though I don't know how, the land has not been reserved. I suspect the 2 are the same thing. Epping is being upgraded and once Dandenong line has been quad railed for 2 tier service and the Domain link I believe Epping will also be tri railed to allow for partial 2 tier service (Epping exp to city). Woolert will be getting rail at one point in the future though that depends on how much noise people make. This will only occur after rail goes all the way back to Whittlesea though. Once the freeway is built you will have the potential for 2 ways into the city without traffic lights. Greenborough freeway link to the Eastern (probably tolled) and the Tulla. The outer ring road E6 is already in planning an acquisition. A bypass from Keilor to Criagiburn is the first component. What I really want it for them to Epping Rd a 2 lane street, that would be great. I bought in at Stage 3 something and my block is around 450 sqm at around 210K, I should have bought earlier but this is my first time doing this and I was undecided,. I decided to buy now before the price goes even higher. Re: Eucalypt North Epping 13Oct 04, 2010 12:06 pm Guys, My block of land is 694 m2 for $246000, and stage 1c --> Bangalay rise... Re: Eucalypt North Epping 17Oct 06, 2010 9:32 am Guys has anyone had any experience with regards to the land in Eucalypt. I have booked a piece of land on Bankcroft avenue and its sent to title in May-June 2011. Is the land out there rocky or something? I just spoke to my CSO from Simonds and she says "rocks etc" are not covered in the "Fixed site costs". Does it cost a bomb and do I have to shell it out of my own pocket. Why would'nt the bank cover that? Re: Eucalypt North Epping 18Oct 06, 2010 11:11 am Yeah Harry, send me an email whenever you like.. Oct 25 is the offcial launch of Eucalypt, wouldn't mind seeing that even tho I have already purchased land there, Site Cost should cover rocks and stuff, I know Porter Davis covers that in their site cost I think. I'm not in that stage yet of picking a builder (Settlement is in June)..
