I like the look but not the dust and mess. To achieve a cleaner enviroment can I seal the walls with a clear paint/sealer? Also it has 3 old fashioned cement wash basins. Re: laundry renovation 3Nov 05, 2007 7:02 pm Cfoulsh….it wont be a problem sealing the sandstone, but you will need to give them a good wash down first. Probably with a Gurney if you can get one.
Once they are dry, you can get a sealant from the hardware shop and paint it on. As for your Tubs….not sure about those. Welcome also!!!! Where is the house ? ie which state? And you can paint the cement tubs with paint if you like to jazz them up. steve This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described.
