Hello All,
I am an Aussie but i live in russia.
I am about to take on a job that involves fitting plastic siding(weatherboard) to a brick house. The bricks are ancient and are cracked .
The house is square with 1 or 2 windows each side (plus doors).
The corners have been bricked with 1/2 a brick width being extended past the flush line of the walls.
The windows have also 1/2 brick extended out past the flush line of the walls.
The roofing is an old cement type but the roof edges are very close to the brick work.
The brickwork on the top 2 courses has been capped with bricks that are flush with the window and corner levels.
I am pondering ideas on how i can minimize framework complexity and also keep the siding as close as i can to the flush line of the windows, corner edges and capped top 2 courses.
Any ideas and suggestions would be cool as.
I have not yet had a chance to measure things out yet as i need to do a material list but if there is a better way of doing it that will cut down on material and keep the siding closer to the brickwork, that would be good.
regards
