Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, especially if the house is in a nice location they like. Not like the house is gonna collapse because it has asbestos. You can pay someone to safely remove it, which would be the best reason to ask for a discount on the price What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength.
