Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 14, 2010 7:02 pm Hi, my neighbours demolished the house and trees next to mine, and stated they were going to build a 3m high side boundary fence (which is their back fence). I only agreed to a 2.5m high fence, and refused to financially contribute becasue the existing boundary fence (a wire fence) is in very good condition. In response, 100ml from the boundary line (on their side of the property) they have built their 3m high fence, which consists of the back of a retaining wall with palings on top. The retaining wall is not straight (it is one metre higher at one end than the other due to the fall of the land) and of course all the posts from both the retaining wall and the palings areon my side. In addition, they have not removed the existing wire fence right next to it so the whole scene is a horrible eyesore and a total mishmash of fences. Are these people seriously allowed to do this? Thank you 0 39024 We are at the stage on our build in Kilcoy, Queensland where we need to get our fencing installed but we cant get any contact details for our neighbours to give them… 0 6142 |
