Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 22, 2007 12:20 pm I have finally sorted out my outdoor entertaining area under our rear full length verandah.. I have put up the PVC patio blinds at one end and our spa is being installed in a few weeks and I was wondering whether putting artificial turf around the spa would be a good idea? *There will also be a bar at the same end)
Has anyone had anything to do with artificial turf? My main reason is (a) so that it looks good and is a little different and (b) so you are not walking directly on the concrete. My only question would be is it OK to get wet (being a spa area will definitely get wet).. Any feedback (either design or appropriateness) would be much appreciated. Re: Outdoor Entertaining Area and Synthetic Grass 2Oct 22, 2007 12:36 pm i think most artificial grass is ok getting wet - I'd be more worried about the effect excessive chlorine may have.
someone else started a thread on fake grass - I listed a company there that does high-end jobs. Re: Outdoor Entertaining Area and Synthetic Grass 3Oct 22, 2007 2:02 pm Hi McReidy, you might also want to check out this recent thread for some suppier information. Hope it works for your situation....
