Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 18, 2010 10:37 am Hey All, I have had to change my plans from Slab to Stumps. I already signed a contract with the builder. The better has advised yet if this will change the costings. Anyone had this? Does anyone know would stumps be more expensive? Thanks Re: Change from Slab to Stumps 3Jun 18, 2010 1:42 pm Yes for sure. I am building on stumps and was more expensive. You have to factor in all of the extra bricks it is going to to take depending on how high the piers are- for the piers and also around your sub floor, the footings, your flooring and the fact you will most likely have stairs. Your build time will of course be longer for all of the extra work they have to do so more labour costs. Lisa- Finally in our house!!!
