Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 17, 2010 3:56 pm Hi We are about to start renovating our house and have been told that it would be easier if we move out for the 3 months it will take to complete. We are unsure where to go. We have a toddler, so will need 2 bedrooms. I have looked into serviced apartments but they are about $300 a night (!). Do you have any other ideas of where to stay? We live in the Sutherland Shire and would want to stay around here for the 3 months. We could live with my parents but...yeah not ideal for that long Thanks Mel Re: Moving out for Renovations - help 3Jun 17, 2010 9:08 pm 3 months isn't that long If you can be reassured that's how long it will take, then I'd seriously consider staying with your parents. I don't know what type of relationship you have with them - but you will blink & it's gone Or short term rental - could be very hard to find tho good luck Jazz Life is like a lolly, suck it and see Re: Moving out for Renovations - help 4Jun 17, 2010 9:11 pm Thanks Jazzie for the advice. I had a bit of a look for short-term rental but its a tricky nut to crack I am sure my parents would love their granddaughter staying with them for the 3 months lol Re: Moving out for Renovations - help 5Jun 17, 2010 9:54 pm melcur Thanks Jazzie for the advice.
